Loooooong time no blog!  It has been quite a while since I've updated my website, and I wanted to let you all know what I've been up to.  I'm such a scatterbrain, but I really am going to try to be better about blogging more often:)

Since my album release in late 2007, I've been working hard on writing my next album, and I am slowly getting it recorded so that I can get it in your hands (to date I have the first 4 songs of it recorded) and THEY ROCK if I must say so!!!  I've also been working on writing for other artists as well which is really fun.  I am super excited about the direction of my new music.  The fast songs are a bit more rockin' and the ballads are a touch more soulful!  

On the personal side of things- I got married last November (to my guitar player...convenient right??)!!  I can tell you with certainty that planning a wedding nearly drove me insane!  I totally should have hired a wedding planner.  Oh well, lesson learned!  

I hit the road with my touring partner, Greg Walters, this past April.  Check him out at myspace.com/gregorywalters.  We played acoustic shows in South Georgia and Florida and had an absolute blast! We were able to see lots of familiar faces and meet some awesome new fans while we were down.  We will be headed back down to Georgia and Florida for another mini-tour in mid July (see my show dates for more info).  If you are in the area, please come out and see us.  I would love to meet you!  We will be headed to other regions very soon.  

I want to thank you all for checking in with me.  I really appreciate your loyalty and support.  This music business is a crazy one, and it is easy to get discouraged.  However, I know that I wouldn't be happy doing anything else:)
